Fantasy or Loyalty?

Just Say No!

Fantasy football has shamed the way fans treat their rivals!  Instead of cheering against rival players no matter which team they play, it seems “fans” are more concerned with their fantasy points.  Yes, fantasy football is great and I play myself, but as a fan you would never see me cheering for the Raiders.  So, what’s acceptable?

1.  Is it acceptable to only cheer for your rival (so you can get the fantasy points) if you know they have no change of winning?

NO!

2.  Is it acceptable to cheer for your rivals (to gain fantasy points) during your team’s bye week?

HELL NO!

3.  Is it acceptable to cheer against your rival when they play any team?

DEFINITELY!

4.  Is it acceptable to cheer against your rival team when they are on their bye week?

COULDN’T HAVE PICKED A BETTER TIME!

Fantasy football is revolutionizing the term “Loyal fan” and lately I’m beginning to think the fan pool is getting smaller.  I encourage you all to stop playing fantasy football for money and start cheering for what really matters, when your most hated team and/or player has a TERRIBLE GAME and LOSES!  I leave you with a quote from a wise wise man . . .

“Be a winner. Stand for something. Always have class, and be humble.”  — John Madden
